We will be in Hall 11, Stand A41/B42 – satellite pavilion RUBBER IMG will be at PLAST in Milan, the most important exhibition in Italy for the rubber industry.
From 5 to 8 September, three presses in horizontal and vertical versions will be exposed in Hall 11, Stand A41/B42. The new fully electric horizontal press, the REM 300 ton, the vertical press model VCV also 300 ton and a 50-ton NEK ” gooseneck” model. During the four days of PLAST you will be able to see our presses in actions with real-time moulding demonstrations and gadgets for customers and visitors.
PLAST, the exhibition dedicated to the plastics and rubber supply chain from 5 to 8 September 2023
PLAST in Milan is one of the European reference events for the plastics and rubber supply chain. At the Milan Rho exhibition centre, from 5 to 8 September 2023, it will be possible to see machinery, equipment and moulds, as well as to experience live demonstrations of the operation of our 3 latest-generation moulding machines.
The novelty of this edition is the addition to the plastics macro zone of a number of satellite halls, including a pavilion dedicated to the rubber sector, ensuring its great relevance. This pavilion will be complemented by two other satellite zones: 3DPlast, dedicated to additive manufacturing, and PLAST MAT, which focuses on innovative solutions for materials.
Production with low environmental impact
Our stand will be housed in the Rubber pavilion, a showcase in which, in addition to displaying the best of production and moulding speed, we will have the opportunity to spread the aspects of environmental sustainability and energy saving. The theme of production that seeks the lowest impact on the environment has increasingly characterised IMG’s corporate policy choices in recent years.
For the occasion, the organisation’s Carbon Footprint was calculated by an external body. At the suggestion of AMAPLAST, our company voluntarily submitted to greenhouse gas (GHG) counting in all departments. From loading and unloading to storage, internal handling, production, packaging, offices, ending with monitoring and surveillance.
The REM 300, the flagship of environmental performance moulding machines
IMG’s commitment to environmental protection is embodied in the REM 300. The world’s first completely electric rubber moulding machine was the subject of a study assessing the potential environmental impacts associated with its entire life cycle.
Conducted by Spinlife, a spin-off of the University of Padua, and Warrant Innovation Lab, the critical environmental performance study, through specific analyses to identify and quantify the ecological footprint, took into consideration all production phases. The result is a press with less impact than the GUM series of machines.
